| ||||||||||||
Tranquil evening shadows fall on a natural Gulf Island spring that borders Choctawhatchee Bay. Please, take a second and tell us your thoughts on this painting. What others have said about Still Waters: This is a place I have been back before the state of Florida was taken over by golf courses and houses. I love the green and white contrast of the grass and the snow. The reflection in the water is breath-taking. I love the green and white contrast of the grass and the snow. The reflection in the water is breath-taking. This is a wonderful painting from more than just the artistic point of view. These fresh water springs have all but disappeared and not very many people even remember that they were ever plentiful. This is a very fascinating painting. It feels as if one is there in that very spot. Well, I'm no art critic, but I think I love the melting colours, the hues of blue and th4e reflection in the water is beautiful. You are very talented, thanks for sharing your work. I would love to be able to paint like you some day. I enjoyed the lovely soft colors and the vivid clarity of the painting. The painting radiates a calm and tranquil strength. The colors, the softness of the sky and it makes me feel that it would be a place I would like to be. This is my favorite purely for nostalgic reasons. I grew up in the area and feel as though I've been to that particular spot. Giclée prints that can be purchased featuring Still Waters:
