Silvery Nets
Destin, Florida

image

Captain Artie Fortner of the Vitamin Sea mentioned this was Dewey Destin's boat probably around 1979 to 1982.

What others have said about Silvery Nets:

Looks just like the skiff I used to fish from. Great memory!

My family were Commercial Mullet Fishermen in Florida for more than 50 years.since the "nets" were banned, my father has passed away...and other famiy members have either gotten out of the business or went to crabbing. This painting brings back alot of wonderful memories of my childhood..on a mullet skiff.

WOW!! The water is amazingly real and so are the reflections!A beautiful painting-well done

The reflection on the water reminded me so strongly of living in Vancouver and going boating on the weekends. It is truly a remarkable talent and gift to carry people on nostaligic journeys on a piece of paper! :) Beautiful work, thank you!

The water looks so real! Wow. This is the best painting of water I have ever seen. Lovely.

i liked this painting because i loved the way steve hill painted the water so nicely. it was absolutely beautiful. so clear and looks so real. i beleive that this is the best i have ever seen (water is so real) beautiful. i love it.

Sunset in the Destin Harbor. I miss those days. Thanks to "Silvery Nets" on my wall, I can bask in it everyday.

Love the glittering water/reflectins
