At the heart of the French Quarter, civil war hero Andrew Jackson rears up on his horse. The Cathedral of Saint Louis established as a Parish in 1720, stands in the background. I was there for my 10th wedding anniversary where an artist drew my portrait with pastels (which I still treasure).
