At the heart of the French Quarter, civil war hero Andrew Jackson rears up on his horse. The Cathedral of Saint Louis established as a Parish in 1720, stands in the background. The Presbetere on the left is now the Louisiana State Museum. Please, take a second and tell us your thoughts on this painting. I was there for my 10th wedding anniversary where an artist drew my portrait with pastels (which I still treasure).
