As the afternoon mist approaches, work boats raft together in the old part of San Pedro Harbor just around the corner from Cabrillo Beach.

What others have said about San Pedro Harbour:

This is my favorite of the paintings listed on pages 1 - 9. I like the realism and rustic aura it gives off. I like the varied techniques used to apply the watercolor. I believe the painting is well rounded and detailed just enough to not be overbearing. If I were not an artist myself I would probably buy a copy, but times are rough after Katrina. For the record, I studied art at the John McCrady Art School from 1972 - 1974, an experience I am sure you treasure as much as I do. Dan Marcus.

So much detail. Love your painting. I lived in San Pedro for three years. Those were the best years of my life. I remember my daily walks at Pt. Fermin park with my dog and in particular the sound of the boats in the early morning hours. Life has its twists and turns, never thought I would leave San Pedro but it happened one day. "No one could be unhappy here, ever!", those were my words for Pt. Fermin was always different, every single day the colors changed and the ocean air brought life into my soul.

I recently graduated from CCS in Detroit as a Car Designer and I took interest in Watercolor painting, I just want to say that your work is great I couldn't decide between to painting as my favorite the san Padro harbour or the Calm after Storm,(probably the Calm after storm would be my first choice) But I know how difficult it is to get exquisite details in watercolor and I appreciate your work greatly
