Had to be painted between 15th and 18th street. Cooler with an orange top...I still have the bag. Like...right at my feet.(had to take it out and compare stripes...) You do amazing work. The pier with the reflection in the sand is probably my favorite. But this one really hits home for me and mom. My Auntie Jane lives on the strand in Hermosa Beach. I am a ex-Lake Tahoe beach bum. I would love that in my guest room which is the "Beach Room" of my home here in Gig Harbor, Washington. Watercolors are my favorite medium to soak in. Love the bright colors. Empty beach chairs realy depicts our Florida beaches, because everybody is enjoying the water swimming. I am amazed at the vivid beautiful colors here. The realness of the metal chairs and the wooden arm rests. You have fooled my husband. When I pulled this watercolor up he said that is a picture he took. You are that true! You've combined colors and display of shadows beautifully. It's a tough choice between this and "Ocean Cats" for my favorite. The scene is so quiet and so hot the people have gone to the water to cool themselves. It is beautiful. The striped chair looks as if someone just got up out of it. The impression of the persons back is still there in the stripes. Lovely painting. I can smell the sea and suntain lotion again. This is incredible! The vibrance and detail of your work makes it very difficult to pick a favorite. I love the shadows and the sand as well as the detail in the fabric of the chairs. This painting brings back memories of beautiful days spent at the ocean While looking at this painting in the midst of Fall I can still hold on to my memories of Summer. Thanks!
